Friday Night Live Music

Jours heureux! Ready for a romantic and fun evening this coming Friday night? Food and Beverage service begins at 6:00 PM Performance at 7:00 PM We warmly welcome back the gypsy jazz kings of Florida! Dance, Eat, Drink and enjoy...... Hot Club of SRQ Trio plays Gypsy Jazz that is deeply rooted in the style of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli. This music simply swings and is full of beauty and romance! Emulating a style of what the French call "Jazz Manouche" and "Le Jazz Hot" in the style of Sinti virtuosos and the "Quintette du Hot Club de France" circa 1934-1948. A sound that can best be described as a 21st century hybrid of the famous “Quintette du Hot Club de France”. The “QHCF” was the most interesting and important jazz ensemble to come out of Europe; however, remains a relatively unknown treasure in the United States. The treasured ensemble was born in 1934 when guitarist Django Reinhardt met violinist Stéphane Grappelli and began jamming in between Django's dance band sets. Their group was named after the "Hot Club de France", a meeting place for jazz musicians and fans in Paris
